ABSTRACT:<\/strong> The study explores the economy of interdependence in 1 Corinthians 12:12 27, examining Pauline metaphor of the human body as a philosophical framework for national identity and inclusive development in Nigeria. The study employs critical exegetical principles, historical-contextual analysis, and African communitarian theories such as Igwebuike and Ubuntu, to interpret Paul\u2019s ideas of unity, diversity, and mutual responsibility that can heal the divided socio-political space. The study contends that disunity, exclusion, and ethical deficit are central to Nigeria's developmental crisis. It maintains that Pauline model of interdependence, entrenched in the cooperation of diverse members in one body, provides a philosophical precept for civic cohesion and collective productivity. Pauline ideas of the body, when re-read and re-interpreted through African communitarian thought, reconceptualize diversity as a resource for national progress rather than a source of conflict. The study yielded pertinent results that reveal that Pauline's concept of interdependence aligns with Nigerian concepts of solidarity and mutual complementarity. The study affirms that cooperative participation is the key to genuine development in Nigeria. It was also found that Nigeria\u2019s underdevelopment stems from a lack of economic interdependence, ethical values, and moral reorientation at all levels of Nigerian society. The study concludes that the economy of interdependence must be adopted as a fundamental national philosophy, in which each person or group contributes to building the nation. Paul\u2019s ideas about the body, which align with Igwebuike and Ubuntu, promote unity in diversity, cooperation, and accountability across all spheres of national building. To that end, the study recommends that Pauline's metaphor of the body, when adopted, serves as a timeless contextual precept that will reconstruct a divided Nigerian identity while fostering inclusive and sustainable development. This Pauline principle will promote interdependence, civic education, intercultural dialogue, integrated leadership formation, and institutionalize inclusive policymaking and governance.
